With any luck, a large comet will be in the sky right after sundown. After the comet sets, view Saturn and Jupiter through telescopes. Also, view several galaxies, Orion Nebula, and open and globular clusters. Telescopes will be set up at White Rock Overlook Park in Spiro Soccer Field. Free

Sandia National Laboratories historian Rebecca Ullrich will discuss SNL’s transition from a wartime Los Alamos division to an independent laboratory. Free and open to the public.

All District Choir Concert Thursday, March 14 at Smith Auditorium
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. It is going to be a very exciting concert where we join with all the other elementary choirs in the district to perform two songs and then we will hear the junior high and high school choirs and we finish with everyone singing together for the final song! Performance includes The Crocodile by Ruth Morris Gray and Lewis Carroll,  The Beautiful Rain by Janet Gardner and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and Eja Eja (We Will Sing For Joy) by Mary Lynn Lightfoot.
