Los Alamos Summer Concert Series – Warren Hood Band playing rock, country and blues 7 p.m. Friday, June 7 Central and Main kicks off Chamberfest.

Chamberfest 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8 downtown Los Alamos on Central Avenue.
With food, live music, a car show, giant sand pile, bubble pit and other family entertainment, it will be a particularly entertaining day. Chamber members invite the public to visit their booth and learn more about their businesses.There will be a variety of entertainment staged throughout the downtown area Saturday. The Nomads will take the stage 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Central Avenue. The car show will include classic cars, Corvettes, hot rods, motorcycles and much more. It wouldn’t be a Chamberfest without the giant sand pile, bubble pit and bouncy houses. Many delicious food vendors will be there to satisfy any craving.

Come One, Come all to Overlook Park Baseball Virchow Field – 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8 to watch a fabulous game of Little League Juniors 13/14 year olds baseball. Our Los Alamos/ White Rock ”Dbacks team is undefeated so far this season. These boys give it their all and then some. It’s a thrill to be a part of the excitement. They would love to see the community fill the stands. Come experience the fun and cheer them on as one of them slides into home plate for the WINNING score!

Generations Contemporary Service 6:07 p.m., Sunday, June 9 Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church (TOTH). First, share in fellowship and belonging with a free dinner at 5:15 p.m. in Kelly Hall. Hiking Los Alamos 101 – Geology Hike 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 10 Pueblo/Walnut Canyon 
Objective: To make Los Alamos residents and visitors comfortable and confident about hiking on trails in/around Los Alamos. Target Audience: Anyone able to hike about 2 miles. Drop ins welcome on any day. Leaders: Los Alamos Geological Society & County Recreation Staff. Dates: Monday evenings in June (3, 10, 17 and 24). Location: Pueblo/Walnut Canyon. The cost is $15 for ALL 4 classes, which includes a Sky Terrain map of Santa Fe, Bandelier, & Los Alamos & a 50 Hikes booklet. Please register in advance. Drop-ins are welcome to any class for $5 if the maximum attendee limit has not been reached.
