Many cultures marked important days of the year with the orientation of buildings. We will walk up to Tyuonyi entryway. If the sky is overcast the walk will be postponed to the next day.

Wiccan Sabbat of Yule 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at Los Alamos Unitarian Church.
Members of the coven of Our Lady of the Woods will gather with family and friends to celebrate the Winter Solstice. The planned ritual embodies the spirit of the season perfectly. The kid friendly ritual will include a visit from Mother Berchta, a long standing tradition at Our Lady of the Woods. A crone who hails from who knows where, she dispenses gifts and insults with equal flair.
