With the help of his geologist wife, Cathy Goff (retired from US Geological Survey), Fraser Goff conducts a fact filled tour of the east and central parts of the preserve dispelling many of the myths that have grown up locally and providing some thought provoking answers to the public’s curiosity about this wonderful landscape.

Stories in the Stars 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 Juniper Campground at Bandelier
The last evening ranger program at Juniper Campground Amphitheater for the summer.
Early civilazations used the stars for navigation, agriculture, special events, art, and culture. Explore the stars through Pueblo storytelling and music. Multimedia presentation, followed with a constellation tour and telescope viewing of the night sky (telescopes provided). Campers and non-campers are welcome – come enjoy!
