Music News:

Nothing says Christmas quite like the sound of a brass choir performing carols. This choir happens to be composed of tubas, large and small, and is called Christmas Tubas.

The group was formed in 2002 by local musician Jerry Morzinski, who gathered other local musicians, including accomplished high school students. They play an eclectic mix of arrangements specifically created for a tuba choir. The first performance was in the Los Alamos library.

This year’s concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 in Kelly Hall at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Dr., in Los Alamos.
