UCLA News:

Celebrate Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. with a candlelight worship service and communion in the historic WW II Army Chapel at The United Church of Los Alamos, 2525 Canyon Road.

The United Church was founded in 1947, by people forming the new Los Alamos community and desiring “fellowship with all who devoutly love the Lord Jesus Christ, and adopting his standard of teaching and conduct as set forth in the New Testament”, as stated in the church covenant.

The church has formal ties with six Protestant denominations:

  • American Baptist;
  • Christian Church (Disciples of Christ);
  • Moravian Church;
  • Presbyterian Church (USA);
  • Reformed Church in America; and
  • United Church of Christ.

More information about the church can be found at www.unitedchurchla.org.

All are invited and welcome to join in the celebration of Christmas and to come along on UCLA faith journeys, together.
