Christine Sierk Earns 5th Paul Harris Fellowship Award

Rotarian Christine Sierk has been a Rotarian since 1999 and Tuesday was awarded her fifth Paul Harris Fellowship based upon her generous donations to Rotary International.

Sierk has served actively on many committees and in several Board positions, including Club President. SHe also is a popular host for travelers in the Rotary Friendship Exchange program.

Paul Harris, after whom the award is named, founded Rotary in 1905. Donations made to The Rotary Foundation fund Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus: promoting peace; fighting disease, especially polio; providing opportunities for clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; supporting education; saving and enhancing the lives of mothers and children; growing local economies; and protecting the environment.
