Children’s Christmas Bazaar Draws 160 Local Shoppers

TOTH News:

This year’s Children’s Christmas Bazaar at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church Dec. 4 drew 160 shoppers, 76 volunteers and a large gathering of parents waiting while their children shopped.

The event also included the signing of 105 cards sent to the American Red Cross for the “Mail for Heroes” program.

Proceeds of about $1,400 from the bazaar will be split between Episcopal Relief and Development health clinic projects in third world countries and scholarships for the TOTH Youth Choir to attend a summer program in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Cathy Walters and Beth Pattillo extend their apprecciation to everyone who contributed and helped with this community event and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
