Chihuahua Escapes Animal Shelter Overnight

ANIMAL SHELTER News:

Lost Dog Alert: A dog in the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter got out of a gate at about 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 and ran away.

There is no photo of the dog but he is described as a tan chihuahua mix, about 12 pounds, not neutered.

His name is Skipper but he may be frightened of strangers, especially if he thinks they will grab him or pick him up.

“We are very worried about him as he’s only been at the shelter a few days and doesn’t know it’s home yet,” said a shelter spokesperson. “If you see him at all, please call the shelter at 662-8179 or call (505) 433-8617.”
