Bellbottom is a bantam chicken almost 7 years old. She is a broody hen and has raised two flocks of standard size chicks numbering near 50 each. Even though she is a tiny mama and all the other chickens tower over her, she is the one who sleeps in the top rung, guards the eggs and has stood her ground against bull snake predators.
