Chart 516: COVID-19 Update New Mexico Oct. 8

The lines in this chart show the seven-day average number of daily COVID-19 diagnoses per 100,000 people versus date,  nationwide, statewide and countywide. The table compares the average number of daily diagnoses per 100,000 people since the start of the pandemic (March 2020) with the corresponding figures for the past week. Los Alamos County had a record number of 54 cases this week, and for the first time, the daily number of diagnoses in the county exceeds both the national average and the state average.
