CHAMISA News:

The Chamisa K-Kids’ Kindness Rock Garden was dedicated Wednesday, May 15. Back in November, Kiwanis Sponsor – Roger Stutz, Chamisa Advisors – Michaelangelo Lobato and Renee Mitsunaga led the highly motivated K-Kids Club to initiate the Kindness Rock Garden.

The 4th through 6th graders clubmembers met during their lunch recess to paint the first set of rocks. The K-Kids wanted to spread words of inspiration, kindness, caring, motivation and happiness to brighten everyone’s day.

Every student and staff member contributed to this project by painting a rock for the garden. The students painted rocks during their art class time. A rock-painting table was set up in the staff lounge for teachers and staff members to create a design.

The club is thankful to Los Alamos Landscaping & More for contributing the rocks for their garden.
