Chamisa Announces Reading/Math Challenge Winners

LAPS News:

Chamisa Elementary School in White Rock had an assembly Friday, Sept.16 where winners of the Summer Reading and Math challenges were presented with prizes.

Chamisa has sponsored the Summer Reading challenge for more than 20 years.

Student’s names are entered for four separate drawings for every 1,000 minutes read: two brand new bicycles and two e-readers provided by the Los Alamos Masonic Lodge.

Chamisa has sponsored the Summer Math challenge for the last two years. 

Student’s names are entered into three separate drawings for every 100 minutes of math practiced. The prizes are provided by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
