Bring your lunch to eat while you learn. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the cost of solar, working with local permitting or your HOA, available incentives and how this technology works in Los Alamos County. Paramanandam is the Business Development Manager at SunPower by Positive Energy Solar. As an Employee Owner and Technical Sales Advisor, Paramanandam has helped home and business owners in Northern New Mexico take control of their electric costs by going solar for more than six years. Paramanandam is committed to sustainability and is very involved with various civic and professional organizations in New Mexico that strive to do business better. Paramanandam is the local coordinator for the Los Alamos Sustainable Energy Network (LASE) and sits on the Board of the Santa Fe Green Chamber of Commerce. Los Alamos has been her home for the past four years and she enjoys exploring all that the community has to offer.
Starrett is a residential PV Designer who has made White Rock her home for the past four years. She draws on her experience working as a structural engineer in the construction industry and in product development for a solar PV racking manufacturer to design and specify the optimum solar installations for individual properties. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and rock climbing. Committed to encouraging the growth of solar, she is excited to be part of the movement to provide distributed power generation in the community her two young children will grow up.
Chamber Take out Talks are held from noon to 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month. Chamber Members present educational information about a variety of topics for the benefit of other Chamber Members and, if there is room, the general public. Seating priority is always given to Chamber Members first.
