CHAMBER News:
The Los Alamos Chamber of Commerce is hosting a seminar on Health Insurance in New Mexico, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Wallace Hall on the UNM-Los Alamos Campus. (That is a different building on the UNM-LA campus from where Chamber Breakfasts are held). Attendees are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch.

Vanguard Resources President and CEO Anne Sperling will present the seminar. She has 32 years of employee benefits training and is a certified instructor for the New Mexico Office of the Superintendent of Insurance for Group Health Plan training. Sperling is a trainer for Leadership New Mexico and Leadership Santa Fe. She also is an author and instructor for the University of North Carolina continuing education series on retirement and employee benefit series.

This is an important seminar for anyone struggling with health insurance for their employees. There also is a follow up seminar planned for early November so attendees have time to digest the information and any new questions can be addressed.
