Chamber Business Breakfast Features Tourism Marketing Wednesday At UNM-Los Alamos

What are effective techniques for attracting tourists? How can you make your products and services stand out? A panel of experts will discuss how Los Alamos Businesses can prepare for the Summer 2016 Tourism Season during the Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Wednesday, April 20 at UNM-Los Alamos.

The panel includes the Director of Marketing for the Santa Fe Convention and Visitors Bureau Cynthia Delgado; Kelly Stewart, who directs the Economic Development Marketing for Los Alamos County; and Small Business Marketing Consultant Mandy Marksteiner.

Delgado and Stewart serve together on the State Tourism Board. Delgado’s portion of the presentation will focus on how Santa Fe focuses its efforts on marketing to tourists. Stewart will address how Los Alamos markets to tourists, and Marksteiner will provide tips on how local businesses can afford and target tourism promotion.

The Chamber Breakfast is 7:30-9 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, in room 230, building 2 at UNM-LA, 4000 University Dr. Breakfast will be pastries and hot cocoa from Rose Chocolatier.
