Chamber Business Breakfast Challenges Bookkeeping Norms Wednesday, Aug. 17

What are effective techniques for keeping track of your business finances? How can you make your books and records tell you more about how your organization is doing?

A panel of experts will discuss how Los Alamos businesses and nonprofits can more effectively be aware of the financial health of their organization and keep track of their real bottom line during the Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Wednesday, Aug. 17.

The panel includes two independent Chamber member CPAs –  Dennis Kennedy and Tony Belletete. Their presentation “CPA Roundtable: There’s More to it than Payroll, Taxes, and Daily Deposits” will include a discussion of the need to review financial statements, discover trends and spot unusual activity. Other topics that will be touched on include cash flow, collections, internal control, and budgeting.

Kennedy and Belletete are inviting attendees to submit questions and propose additional topics for discussion in advance; send them to Chamber Director Nancy Partridge at
