Chamber Breakfast Features Talk On Healthcare Benefit Options For 2018 Wednesday

Business owners and human resource managers will find the Wednesday, Sept 13 Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast particularly informative.
Anne Sperling, president and CEO of Vanguard Resources, will be discussing the healthcare benefit options for 2018. The Chamber Business Breakfasts are sponsored by the LANL CPO’s office and attendance at the breakfasts is a benefit of Chamber Membership.
Sperling’s presentation will include correctly setting up and implementing benefit plans, issues with the State of New Mexico’s premiums for large groups and premium tax audits, issues with the health exchange, NM Health Connections, Medicaid, and the state of the ACA and where things were left in Washington, D.C.
Sperling has more than 33 years of employee benefit experience. She was the national chair of the Professional Development Committee for the National Association of Health Underwriters for five years. As chair, Sperling personally authored and delivered certification courses for employee benefit specialists across the nation. She received numerous awards for her distinguished service to her profession and to her community including the prestigious NM Woman of Influence Award, Santa Fe Business Woman of the Year, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year, highest-level lifetime achievement Leading Producer Roundtable Designation, and NMAHU’s “Anne Sperling Award.”
