Eight winners were selected from among 85 BINGO cards that were completed and returned to the Chamber of Commerce June 10 during Chamberfest.
The grand prize winner is Sheryl Nichols, who won a necklace from Bennett’s Fine Jewelry. The seven other winners include Sergio Cordova, George Sparrow, Anthony Pollington, Maria Marquez, Elise Tang, Cathy Shisler and Cinthia Escarcega. Each winner received a prize donated by a local business such as a gift card from Metzger’s Do It Best Hardware, Los Alamos Bliss, or Float Los Alamos; a poster of the view from Los Alamos; or a County of Los Alamos picnic blanket.
Twenty four of the 73 booth locations were represented on the Chamberfest BINGO card, a game that gave visitors a chance to win a prize if they completed three lines – one horizontal, one vertical, and also a diagonal – by visiting booths and getting their card initialed.
