Chadirji-Martinez Was Top Predictor In Weekly Pace Race

ACRR News:

Kamil Chadirji-Martinez was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held at Fireman’s Park at 45th Street and Arizona Avenue—he was 5 seconds off his predicted time.

Other accurate predictors were: 

  • Hubert Szabat with a 19 second differential
  • Tomas Karkella recording 21 seconds off
  • Lynn Bjorklund with a 35 second difference as well as the best female finisher on the 3 mile course at 31:35
  • Sanna Sevanto was 40 seconds off
  • Adrian Medin was the top finisher in the 1-mile distance with a time of 6:48 and the first female was Brooke Sykes at 9:45
  • On the 3-mile course Eric Anderson recorded a 23:19 for first place

Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, starting on West Jemez Road (State Route # 501) just past the Laboratory “S” Site on the right side of the road when heading toward the “Back Gate” just past the twin tanks. 1-, 2-, and 3-mile paved and 1-, 2-, and 3-mile trail runs will be available.
