October marked Century Bank’s first anniversary of the opening of its Los Alamos branch. Century Bank is grateful to the community and citizens of Los Alamos for their warm welcome and providing the opportunity to serve their financial needs.
Century remains invested in its communities through support of local organizations and a focus on philanthropy that impacts health, education, culture and humanitarian efforts.
Key among the organizations that Century Bank has supported are Self-Help, Los Alamos Public Schools, the Family YMCA and the Los Alamos Concert series.
“The past 12 months have proven that the members of the Los Alamos community are highly adaptive and resilient,” Branch Manager Karen Easton said. “By putting the needs of our clients first, we have ensured that their essential needs are met while maintaining a safe environment for both staff and client. It has been our honor to serve and we invite those in the community looking for a bank that puts you first to stop by and visit.”
“Karen and her team define good old-fashioned hometown banking. You are not just a number; you are part of the Los Alamos Century Bank Family. They strive to make each and every person have access to every tool the bank has. Much of my success in 2019 and survival of 2020 is because of Karen and her team …thank you,” said Patrick Mockler-Wood, owner of Pajarito Brewpub in Los Alamos.
Century will celebrate its first-year anniversary in a COVID safe way – offering small gifts to customers as well as offering a one-time Certificate of Deposit special. Interested customers may visit the bank during normal business hours at 751 Trinity Dr. in Smith’s Marketplace shopping center or by making an appointment by calling 505.661.3450. Century Bank is remaining open with COVID- safe practices.
