Central Avenue Improvement Project Inches Toward Completion

COUNTY News:

The Central Avenue Improvement Project is inching toward completion. Bathtub Row will open Tuesday morning.

The final closure of the library driveway will occur as soon as Bathtub Row is opened. The closure of the library driveway is necessary in order to install the remaining concrete valley gutters. The library driveway will reopen Monday, Nov. 17. In the meantime, access to the library will be off Bathtub Row, please use the east library parking lot.

Oppenheimer Drive between Trinity Drive and Central Avenue also will open Nov. 17.

Starting Monday, Nov. 24, the contractor will begin some additional concrete work on the Central Avenue driveway to the Community Building. Expect some of the adjacent Central Avenue on-street parking to be blocked off with possible short-term flagging operations to allow trucks and equipment to enter or exit the site curing demo and concrete placement. This driveway should be open again by Dec. 1.
