Puppeteers will present a short play about the Apostle Paul’s shipwreck called “Trusting in God” at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, Canyon Road at Diamond Drive.
Join us early for a great free dinner at 5:17, then for our contemporary service with puppeteers and our live praise band.
God’s great gift to us, at Christmas and throughout the year, is that He is with us always, even in the darkest hours of our lives.
When we struggle in our lives, God is there. Christians celebrate Christmas as the day God lovingly gave the gift of Himself in human form to us. Since then, we have seen Christmas as a time to reflect on God’s gift of love and to pay it forward to others by giving of ourselves. We most often share our love through the giving of gifts to those whom we love. These gifts are pieces of ourselves, given as tangible signs of God’s love for us and the love we have for those to whom we give them.
Other spiritual communities and faith groups also support and participate in gift giving at this time of year. God’s gift of love knows no bounds and is for everyone.
