Smaug is about to turn 7 years old. He was adopted from the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter when he was a kitten. He is a Taoseño, first taken in by Stray Hearts Animal Shelter. Smaug loves to lift spirits all over Los Alamos. He is a member of the Aimee Slaughter family. Photo by Aimee Slaughter
