Cat Rescued From Tree At Caballo Peak Apartments

Animal Control Officer Alysha Lenderman and Los Alamos County Utilities Department employees Julian and Michael rescue a cat from a tall pine tree at Caballo Peak Apartments. The cat had reportedly been in the tree for four days, but the rescue took less than five minutes once the bucket truck arrived. The handsome black cat, being called “Ponderosa”, will be cared for at the Los Alamos County Animal Shelter. If he is not claimed in five days, he will be put up for adoption. Courtesy photo
