Roxana Candia, Lily Nolen and Adrian Medin had perfect predictions for the 1-mile race in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly Pace Race Tuesday starting at Pinon/Rocket Park in White Rock.
The best predictors (and the time in seconds that they were off ther prediction) for the 3-mile race were Zachary Medin (4), Ted Romero (16), Mary Snow (41), and Laura McClellan (41).
Tuesday’s pace race had 46 participants and used a staggered start in which predictors with the slowest times started first. Starting last were the ones with the fastest predicted times: Roxana Candia and Adrian Medin for 1 mile, and Zachary Medin and Ted Romero for 3 miles.
Next Tuesday’s Pace Race is 6 p.m. in the area of Deer Trap Mesa near the junction of Barranca and Navajo Roads on Barranca Mesa.
