Courtesy photoRoxana Candia was perfect in her prediction/finish of 23.30 and was also the fastest female on the 3 mile course, which was held in the La Senda area of White Rock.
Ted Romero was the top male runner in the 3 mile race at 19:47 and had an excellent prediction of 8 seconds off.
Other noted predictors were: Matt Fair at 9 seconds off; Steve Shook with a 12 second differential; Katie Gattiker at 26 seconds off; and Tom Sandford recording a 33 second delta.
On the 1 mile course Sue Kinkead was the top female finisher at 10:28 and Bob Westervelt was the fastest male with a time of 11:29.
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 on Barranca Mesa at the corner of San Ildefonso Road and Barranca Road across from the playground.
