Youth Business Grant recipient Elise Koskelo will wrap up her summer, all pun intended with a booth at Fuller Lodge this weekend.
The Los Alamos High School student owns Blueprint Wraps and said she had a very productive summer, in terms of sales and efforts.
“I added 14 more pieces to my inventory using unique yarns, as well as increased my media availability on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Weebly,” Koskelo said. “I am on track for increasing my sales this year and I am looking forward to sharing my wearable art with fashion savvy customers.” Read More

USDA Increasing Investment Opportunities In Rural America For Private Entities

Recently the White House Rural Council, chaired by the United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, announced the creation of a new U.S. Rural Infrastructure Opportunity Fund to allow private entities to invest in rural infrastructure projects across the nation.
Ten billion dollars have been pledged to start the Fund and it expects to grow with additional funds. Co Bank, a national cooperative bank serving rural America, is the anchor investor and Capital Peak Asset Management will manage the new fund.
