DOE Awards Contract For Liquid Waste Services At Savannah River Site

CINCINNATI, Ohio The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Thursday announced the award of a contract to Savannah River EcoManagement, LLC for Savannah River Site Liquid Waste Services.
 
The contract is cost-plus-award-fee and includes an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract line item. The total estimated value of the contract is approximately $4.7 billion. JEMEZ SPRINGS — The Jemez Mountain Trail Sale will draw more than 150 vendors and leaf peepers to the Jemez Valley 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Oct. 21-22 to sell and buy new and used items and enjoy priceless views of the changing fall colors along the Jemez Mountain Trail Scenic Byway (N.M. 4).
 
The 14th annual Jemez Mountain Trail Sale – the longest yard sale in New Mexico – begins at San Ysidro near the intersection of N.M. 550 and N.M. 4 and continues 12 miles past Jemez Springs to La Cueva. The sale covers more than 30 miles.

Los Alamos Home Prices And Condo Sales Rise

The median price of Single Family Home sales saw an increase or $310,000 in the 3rd Quarter of 2017 compared to $279,500 in the same quarter last year.
 
Single Family home sales dipped from 94 in the 3rd Quarter of 2016 to 75 this quarter. Single Family home sales volumes noted the drop showing $29.5M in 2016 compared to $26.8M for the 3rd Quarter of 2017. Condo and Townhome sales dipped in the 3rd Quarter of 2017 to 25 units sold compared to 30 units sold in the same Quarter of 2016. During this same period, the median price of Condos/Townhomes jumped from $171,500 in the 3 rd Quarter
