The Los Alamos Historical Society and Museum is thankful for a recent donation by Don Taylor and Ken Nebel of Village Arts, who contributed a magnificent aerial photograph of the Pajarito Plateau taken by Taylor and framed by Village Arts.

Located in the museum’s entry way, the wall-sized image greets more than 35,000 annual museumgoers and provides a place for docents to orient visitors to the plateau. Locals can also enjoy the image and residents can often be seen pointing out particular areas of the photograph as they share personal stories about changes to the hill over time with their visiting guests, Museum staff said.

“Our community history museum experience is greatly enhanced thanks to the generous community partnerships with Los Alamos businesses Don Taylor Photography and Village Arts,” Judith Stauber of the Historical Society said.
