The protective masks that most of us wear are great except for one thing: we can’t always hear what the wearer is saying.
A partial solution for those of us with limited hearing is a mask that lets us see the speaker’s mouth.
Whether we realize it or not, most of us have some ability to read lips. My wife’s mask is designed with a transparent portion through which her mouth is visible.
