Bueck Sweeps Division at Gold Cup Classic

Lilly Bueck was the top all-around scorer in the Level 5 Division for Los Alamos School of Gymnastics Atomic Tumblers’ at the Gold Cup Classic in Albuquerque on Jan. 19-20.

Bueck, Level 5 Junior B Division, earned gold on vault (9.0), bars (9.5), beam (9.45), floor (9.2) and in the all-around (37.15) competition.

Bueck was among 142 gymnasts from seven teams that participated in the meet. Seven Atomic Tumblers’ competed in the Level 5 Division, earning a third place Level 5 team award. Six Atomic Tumbler’s competed in the Level 4 Division, and one in the Level 6 Division.

Nicole Aldaz was the top scorer for the Tumblers’ in the Level 4 Division. Aldaz earned silver in the all-around (33.7), floor (8.575), and beam (8.425), and bronze on vault (8.7), and bars (8.0) in the Level 4 Senior Division.

Liz Lockhart, the Tumblers’ only Level 6 competitor, earned bronze all-around (34.475.) Lockhart placed second on bars (8.45), earned bronze on vault (8.9) and floor (8.6), and took fourth on beam (8.525) in the Level 6 Senior Division.

Level 4 Child Division

Katerina Kovalevskaya placed eighth all-around with a 31.85 and earned fourth on beam (8.25) and fifth on vault (8.6). Kaeley Bustos earned seventh on bars (8.35) and floor (8.05), placing ninth all-around. Milan Vigil earned gold on vault (9.1) and placed tenth all-around.

Level 4 Junior Division

Jazmine Tuning earned fourth place on vault (8.85), seventh on bars (8.25), and sixth on beam (8.35), floor (8.0), and all-around (33.45). Teammate Allison Warner earned seventh in the all-around (31.9). Warner gave strong performances on beam (8.35) and bars (8.3), earning sixth place in both events.

Level 5 Child Division

Brianna Fryer earned bronze on beam (8.35), placed fourth in the all-around (32.15), and took fifth on bars (8.05). Teammate Paetyn Miller earned bronze on bars (8.45) and vault (8.25), and placed ninth in the all-around (31.0.)

Level 5 Junior A Division

Anna Clark earned silver on vault with an 8.45, fifth on beam (8.45), and fourth on floor (8.7), bars (8.45), and all-around (34.05.)

Level 5 Senior A Division

Elyse Phillips took silver on floor with a 9.0, bronze on beam (8.5), and all-around (34.0), fifth on bars (8.45), and sixth on vault (8.05.)

Level 5 Senior B Division

Ashley Bustos brought home bronze medals on bars (8.7), beam (8.525), and all-around (34.5), and placed fourth on floor (8.825) and vault (8.45.)

Level 5 Senior C Division

Ramya Stevens earned silver on all events: beam (8.5), floor (8.4), vault (8.2), bars (6.75), and all-around (31.65.)
