COURT News:
Hazel Bucholz, 19, will remain in custody until her Dec. 1 preliminary hearing in Los Alamos Magistrate Court, following a ruling by Judge Pat Casados Friday.
Bucholz was arrested in Rio Rancho on a warrant after she failed to appear for her Oct. 27 preliminary hearing before Judge Casados.
Bucholz was arrested June 20 and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She had her first appearance June 21 before Judge Casados.
During Friday’s hearing, Bucholz admitted to having violated her conditions of release by leaving and changing her address without notifying the Court and by not keeping in touch with her attorney.
Bernalillo Magistrate Court records indicate that Bucholz also is facing a preliminary hearing Dec. 1 before Judge Richard Zanotti. In that case, she is accused of defrauding Sterling Bucholz of $1,800.
