COMMUNITY News:

The Arts Council invites the public to attend the Brown Bag performance of The Galisteo String Quartet, at noon Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Fuller Lodge. The members of The Galisteo String Quartet, Janet Cordova and Julanna Gilbert (violins), Kathleen Neher (viola) and Robert Coombe (cello), live in the Santa Fe and Los Alamos area.

They have played with various musical groups for many years and met through mutual musical friends. They recently began exploring music as a string quartet and are now performing together in Santa Fe and Los Alamos.

The Brown Bag series is a free event, presented the first Wednesday of the month at Fuller Lodge.  Members of the public are invited to bring their lunch and listen to a lovely group play for an hour. This month, The Galisteo String Quartet will be playing selections from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The Brown series are free, but donations are accepted.
