Bring Family to PEEC to Learn Birding

PEEC News:

PEEC’s Summer Family Evenings continue Tuesday, June 18 with Family Birding. Birder and educator Dave Yeamans will be at PEEC to teach kids and adults how to identify a variety of local birds. 

This event is free for PEEC members and $5 per family for non-members. Drop in any time between 6:30-8 p.m., and as a special treat, participants may get to wear PEEC’s famous bird hat and hear stories about its great collection of bird feathers.

Photos of mystery birds are welcome, as are descriptions of backyard birds. Bring binoculars and a favorite bird book, if available, but PEEC has plenty to share.

Don’t miss the chance to learn more about our feathered neighbors.
