ACRR News:
Brian Newnam is the best predictor at 3 seconds off his predicted time in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race held Tuesday evening at Dinosaur Park on Barranca Mesa.
Other accurate predictors include:
- Mark Bjorklund with a 9 second differential
- Matthew Kerr at 15 seconds off as well as the best finisher in the 3 mile distance with a time of 20:15;
- Elizabeth Atkins with a 21 second difference; and
- Lynn Bjorklund at 16 seconds off and the top female finisher on the 3 mile course recording a 23:33.
On the 1 mile course William Strother, 12, was first at 7:47 and Anna Ferenbaugh, 12, was the best female with a time of 9:52.
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 on the Deer Trap Trail starting at the junction of Barranca Road and Navajo Road on Barranca Mesa.
1 mile paved and 2 mile and 3.6 mile trail courses will be available.
