COUNTY News:
The public is invited to attend a branding and logo development kick-off meeting 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at Fuller Lodge.
The meeting will be hosted by Atlas Advertising, the County’s branding consultant, who will be in Los Alamos May 5 and 6. After touring Los Alamos earlier in the day, Atlas will be conducting this evening session with the public to seek feedback before they begin work on a proposed branding strapline and logo for Los Alamos County, in accordance with the County Council’s direction earlier this year.
They will give a short introduction and briefing about their company, along with an overview of the branding process and work done to date, and then plan to engage the audience in a series of Q&A about our community, which is part of their research process for identifying some themes that will help with strapline development.
A project webpage and newsletter has been established on the county’s website for branding. After the meeting on May 5, the project team expects to issue monthly newsletters to keep the public informed of progress and next steps. Work is expected to conclude later this summer with the suggested straplines going to the public for further feedback and then a final presentation to the Council in early Fall.
