Board Of Public Utilities Meeting Via Zoom July 15

COUNTY News:

Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency declared last March by the state of New Mexico, the Los Alamos County Board of Public Utilities (BPU) has been conducting and live streaming its board meetings over the telephone.

As public in-person attendance is prohibited, citizens provided public comment through email, which staff read into the record.

The upcoming July 15 board meeting, however, will be live streamed using the Zoom platform. In-person attendance is still not permitted, but citizens who have public comment may join the meeting using Zoom login information and provide remarks directly to the board when called upon.

The complete agenda will be published 72 hours prior to the July 15 meeting and will be available at https://ladpu.com/BPU-AgendasMeetings (select “Board of Public Utilities” in the dropdown menu). Citizens will still be able to live stream the meeting on July 15 by visiting the Live Proceedings page at: https://ladpu.com/BPULiveProceedings

For citizens interested in joining the meeting to provide public comment, the Zoom application is available to be downloaded at https://Zoom.us/download. Select “Zoom Client for Meetings”. Department of Public Utilities’ staff recommends citizens do this prior to the July 15 meeting and practice to ensure microphones are properly set up.

Citizens may join the Zoom BPU meeting at 5:30 p.m., July 15 by one of the following methods:
