Bjorklund Has Perfect Prediction In Weekly Pace Race

Lynn Bjorklund had a perfect prediction of the 24:00 minute time recorded in the 3 mile distance on the course in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race Tuesday on the trail just north of Brewer Rodeo Area on North Mesa.
 
Other accurate predictors include:
  • Ted Romero with a 14 second differential;
  • Duane Marr at 15 seconds off;
  • Katie Gattiker and Felix Candia tied at 18 seconds difference; and
  • Zac Medin recording 31 seconds off.
 
On the 1 mile course Levi Gibson, 8, was the best finisher at 7:14 and the top female was Roxana Candia with a 8:15 time.
 
Travis Gibson had a 19:13 for first finisher in the 3 mile distance and the best female was Sanna Sevanto recording a 23:45.
 
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 on the Canada de Buey Trail in White Rock. It will start just west of Chamisa Elementary School on Meadow Lane. 1 and 3 mile distances will be available.
