PEEC News:
Ever wonder what it is like to be a Big Brother/Sister, or a Little Brother/Sister? Big Brothers and Big Sisters Mountain Region are taking over the Los Alamos Nature Center for one evening to offer family-friendly activities, answer questions, and share heart-warming stories 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20. It will be a great time to find out how to get involved in this supportive, mentoring network.
This fun, family-friendly evening will offer a variety of activities including a scavenger hunt, an outdoor petting zoo sponsored by Dianne Wilburn, holiday reindeer cookie decorating with Big Sister Melba and Little Sister Nina, an art project from Big Sister Dawn and Little Sister Sydnee, and a winter activity with Big Brother Art and Little Brother Tony. Santa is even planning to attend. There will be a variety of holiday treats and drinks and a holiday musical presentation by the Little Sisters and Brothers.
This event will take place at the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road. It is free to attend, and no registration is required.
