Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region Take Over Los Alamos Nature Center Jan. 16

PEEC News:

Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and Big Brothers Big Sisters Mountain Region are partnering to hold a fun community night 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Los Alamos Nature Center. This free event will have nature-themed activities for the whole family to enjoy.

PEEC and Big Brothers Big Sisters invite everyone to attend, take part in a nature craft, enjoy refreshments, and talk with Bigs and Littles from our community. There will be information about their new program Big Outdoors, and Big/Little matches from Los Alamos will be available to answer questions.

Big Outdoors matches kids with a Big who can show them how much fun the outdoors can be. There are more kids than Bigs in this new program. If you are interested in sharing your love of the outdoors with the next generation, please bring your questions and talk to a Big.

This community night will take place at the Los Alamos Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road. It is free to attend, and no registration is required. For more information about this and other Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) programs, visit www.peecnature.org, email programs@peecnature.org  or call (505).662.0460.
