Saturday will mark the second year for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northern New Mexico Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place at The Los Alamos Municipal Golf Course (LAGC).
The main focus of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northern New Mexico is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
Fundraising endeavors ensure the group has increased capacity to respond to increased needs in this community. The Annual Golf Tournament is one event that helps provide direct financial support and strength to Big Brothers/Big Sisters programs and supports the children of Los Alamos and Rio Arriba Counties.
The tournament is still in need of more golfers for Saturday’s event. Golfers can call Dawn Brown to register. Fees are:
- Non- LAGC Golfers $100 (Includes driving range, cart, golf, dinner and prizes)
- Los Alamos Golf Couse Pass Holders $76.00 (driving range, cart, golf, dinner and prizes)
- Los Alamos Golf Course Fusion Passes $65.50 (driving range, cart, golf, dinner and prizes)
Enjoy a great day on the course featuring: Mulligans, Longest Drive, closest-to the- Pin, and opportunity to win a new 2013 Chevy Cruze from Henry Valencia Espanola, for hitting a hole-in-one and a chance to win $5,000 in the Putting Contest sponsored by Los Carnales La Familia Motorcycle Club and many great prizes.
