LACA News:

Have you ever dreamed of schmoozing with a star backstage before a performance?

Classical guitar and harp fans can make that dream come true by bidding on a special experience offered by the Los Alamos Concert Association (LACA) in public radio station KUNM’s fundraising auction, which ends Thursday.

KUNM will be auctioning two tickets to hear classical guitarist Jason Vieaux perform with Grammy nominated harpist Yolanda Kondonassis at the Duane Smith Auditorium on March 16. In addition to their performance, Yolanda and Jason will hold a pre-concert conversation with the audience.

The winning bidder will also be given two special back-stage passes to work with Winnie Lamartine, the LACA board member responsible for taking care of the artists’ needs back stage. The lucky pair will help Lamartine prepare for Kondonassis and Vieaux’s arrival, listen to their warm-up rehearsal, assist with green room refreshments and accompany the artists to the lobby for post-concert CD signing.
