Bees and Balloons Top Rotary Talks

ROTARY News:

The Rotary Club of Los Alamos meets 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Dixie Girl Restaurant, 1789 Central Ave.

December’s speakers include:

Dec. 11: Dr. Robert Wingo of the Chemical Diagnostics and Engineering Group/LANL will speak about research using honeybees to detect explosives, as well as grapevine diseases.

Dec. 18: Pilot Dave Melton will speak about hot-air ballooning.

Guests are always welcome to attend Rotary Club meetings.
