LACDC News:

The LACDC’s Meeting & Visitor Bureau is seeking volunteers to help with the seasonal increase in visitor traffic at the White Rock Visitor Center. As the weather begins to change and warmer days are ahead, the number of visitors that come through the doors will continue to increase.

The Atomic Transit shuttle season begins Friday, May 23 and will require that all Bandelier National Monument visitors park at the White Rock Visitor Center and ride a free shuttle to and from the Monument.

This allows the center an opportunity to promote all the attractions in and around Los Alamos County. The goal is to make sure everyone is informed about the two free local museums plus the  dining and shopping available in Los Alamos and White Rock, along with other statewide attractions.

Volunteer shifts range 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and noon to 4 p.m., seven days a week. Anyone interested in becoming an ambassador for Los Alamos County and the LACDC Meeting & Visitor Bureau should contact Cindy Whiting at 505.662.8105.
