The Los Luceros Historical Site is one of the premier cultural sites in Northern New Mexico. This Historical Site is a great place to explore and enjoy a farm property that was started in the early 1700s. It is located on the Rio Grande River in Los Luceros, north of Espanola, and is near where the earliest acequia was built in northern New Mexico. It hosts many popular events including Shearing Day (April 6), Fall Festival (Sept. 21), and Sky Fiesta (late October). Members can visit for free, waiving the normal $7 entrance fee, and have access to exclusive member events and volunteer opportunities.
