COUNTY News:
Three bear resistant dumpsters were delivered Dec. 29 to Los Alamos Medical Center.
These dumpsters are a safety measure in an effort to deter bears from feeding at these dumpsters and to minimize human-bear interactions.
This project was funded collaboratively by New Mexico Game and Fish, Los Alamos County Environmental Services and Los Alamos Medical Center. A special thank you is extended to Bob Osborn, assistant chief of Private Land Programs at NMG&F, for all his time and effort.
