The 3rd annual Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) “Drive for Matches” Golf Tournament is Saturday, July 26 at the Los Alamos Municipal Golf Course for the kids of Northern New Mexico.
The tournament is still in need of more golfers for the July 26th event. Fees are:
- Non-LAGC Golfers – $100 (Includes driving range, cart, golf, dinner and prizes)
- Los Alamos Golf Couse Pass Holders – $76 (driving range, cart, golf, dinner and prizes)
The event will feature free range balls, Mulligans, Yard of String and the opportunity to win eight hole-in-one prizes, including two 2014 cars sponsored by Henry Valencia of Espanola and Desert Auto of Espanola.
There also is a chance to win $5,000 in a Putting Contest sponsored by Plateau Property Management of Los Alamos, with a guaranteed winner of $100. Other featured prizes are an iPad Mini, a new driver, two overnight hotel packages and many other great prizes.
The main focus of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern New Mexico is to provide children facing adversity with strong, enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better. The Annual Golf Tournament helps provide direct financial support to Big Brothers Big Sisters programs, and supports the children of Los Alamos and Rio Arriba Counties.
The tournament culminates with an awards dinner for the golfers and BBBS volunteers of the year. Register and pay for your individual team (foursome) by July 19. Golfers can register on-line at www.bbbsnorthernnm.org/laragolf. Also, registration forms are available at the Los Alamos Golf Course.
