BNH News:

The Barranca Natural Helpers supported the “Out of the Darkness Community Walk” Sept. 20. Natural Helpers, Barranca staff, and families showed up to support the walk’s mission of raising awareness about depression and suicide.

These are not adult issues and this group knows that all to well. Their peers deal with these issues regularly either personally or indirectly through effected family members and friends. It is vital that we come together as a community to talk about and face these issues by becoming educated and giving unconditional support.

We thank everyone who came out to participate as well as those who gave funds to support AFSP.  Barranca Natural Helpers had a great time participating in the walk and raised $355. At this time, we’d also like to thank our sponsors, JJAB and Barranca Elementary, as well as our supporter, Kiwanis. They have made it possible for us to continue this program to support Los Alamos youth. Thank you!
