HISTORY ON TAP News:
The Sept. 3 History on Tap will feature Bandelier National Monument Superintendent Jason Lott, who will discuss the Manhattan Project National Historical Park.
History on Tap is 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the UnQuarked Wine Room at 145 Central Park Square in downtown Los Alamos. Join the discussion about the new park, which will be located in Los Alamos, Hanford, Wash. and Oak Ridge, Tenn. Bring your questions and suggestions about what the park might look like in our town.
The On Tap series happens every first and third Thursday of the month, featuring a new topic each week. The first Thursday of the month rotates topics on history, nature and art. The third Thursday of the month is always Science on Tap. History on Tap is sponsored by the Los Alamos Creative District and by the Los Alamos Historical Society.
This series with an informal 10 to 15-minute lecture followed by a lively group discussion. “On Tap” is a way for people to get out and about in the community, learn something new, and meet people with similar interests. is free and open to public.
